+1 for Grafana as well, it's great for metrics (CPU usage, how many widgets are produced, etc) but I've found it's not great for other things. Specifically managing/parsing logs, which I get isn't rrreeaaaalllyyy it's use case anyway. Another thing to check out would be Graylog, but I digress, too far from "dashboarding all the things!".

Folks should also check out Netdata https://www.netdata.cloud/ which does a lot of cool things in terms of one click/command setup and system monitoring. While it does have things that it auto detects (SQL metrics, httpd/web server metrics) I don't think you can just throw things on a dashboard as easy as Grafana.
