1. So he included sed and awk, as well as ack which is written in Perl, but he didn't include Perl? Ok... 2. It's not clear to me why he included both ack AND ag. 3. If you like ag, give ripgrep/rg a try. It's written in Rust and is even faster than ag. It's a fantastic tool for finding strings in big git repos.
