[PLUG] [plug-announce] Wed Sep 2 - PLUG Central - "Linux Programming - Working with Files" by Ron Guilmet (7pm online)

PLUG Central will be meeting on Wednesday, September 2, beginning at
7pm. The meeting will be online. Details are at the bottom of the email.

This month, PLUG welcomes back Ron Guilmet. Ron will be giving a talk
entitled "Linux Programming - Working with Files".

  You'll learn how to create files, open them, read, write, and close
  them in the language of C. We'll look at the use of system calls and
  the performance penalty for using them.

We'll be using Jitsi Meet, a free and open source videoconferencing
platform, for the meeting. The meeting will start at 7 PM. The talk will
start at 7:30. Q&A and general chat will follow the talk.
