Could you provide a few more details?

What are you actually trying to accomplish? What kind of RAID with
what drives/etc? Is it all one big RAID or do you have a few?

What is actually happening? You said, "the space was not allocated
correctly." That says nothing about how it was supposed to be
"allocated," how it was actually "allocated," and what you even mean
by "space" and "allocated."

Disclaimer: I'm not much of an Ubuntu expert: You're using Ubuntu.
What do you see when the partitioning screen comes up? What drive(s)
does the OS see? What does it want to do?

If you're just trying to have one big hardware RAID across all the
drives, then Ubuntu should see a single drive in your system, and it
should basically give you the same options that you get if you go to
install it on any random desktop PC with a single drive. And of
course Ubuntu supports a variety of partitioning/etc options.
