Sorry. I don't understand. What do you mean by "private" email address? What type of email address would they allow?
Also, I don't see what Chime actually does, or what makes them unique and desirable.. They're not a bank. They tout direct deposit, something that;'s been done for 35 years. They tout zero fees, but Wells Fargo pays me and has a very nice banking app also. What am I missing?
Recently purchased a private email address to increase my security, and just found out chime.com does not allow "private" email addresses. I went with protonmail - used the free one for a while now when I wanted more privacy than my gmail account.
I understand that "free" things on the internet translates to "you" are the product... but somehow this one blindsided me.
Thought it would make for a good discussion.
