Re: [PLUG] trouble with Thunderbird and Comcast

The timing is not right, since the cert switch was 2021-09-30...but the word "certificate" brings to mind:

Has anyone recently had trouble using Comcast as an email server through a Thunderbird email client?  My last email delivered to me through this interface was on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Thunderbird can still send emails using the Comcast server (which is the first step in getting this list to you).

No changes were made by me.

It tells me "the certificate belongs to a different site...."

I have worked with Comcast's security support.  Unfortunately they could not help me.

I have looked at Comcast's website which references Thunderbird 17.0; I am using 78.13.0.

Has anyone else experienced this?  Have you found a solution? Thanks if you can help me.
