[PLUG] laptop keyboard replacement

a key was biting the big one, so I ordered a new one.
When the laptop arrived, I put in 2 NVMs, so it wasn't a big deal to open.
Until I tried to open it.

1. After you remove 13 screws, make sure you go around and count them. If some reappear in their slots, you either need more light or more meds.
2. if it's too hard to PRY open, see #1
3. When it is still too hard to open, hang your head in shame and check the manual. 4. Whenever working on a computer, keep another computer or phone handy, to check the net
5. If you look carefully, the manual will point out the screw you never saw
6. orienting kbd side up, open and look at the MESS your laptop is. Don't you ever wash that thing? 7. remove old keyboard. Suggested pressure point doesn't work so use hand torch 8. Remove flat wires that go into micro mini quantum-size connectors. Now would be a good time to call someone whose hands don't shake 9. attach new wires. This is way harder than removing them. Do not drink or take meth, unless you called someone, like in #8 10. put all the screws back, like you would a tire on your car: in a trapezoidal shape, starting at the corner you can't see at the far end. 11. Yes, the manual said it's a trivial install, but light a candle, say a prayer, commune with your chosen deity, or wenches and beer with the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
12. take it apart and do it again til it works
13. when finished, put a strut in your step. Brag to your SO that you fixed the laptop. Skip the antidepressant for a day.

 and finally:

get out the glue to repair the broken plastic from when you tried to 'sort of' pry it open
