Not the simplest solution, and there wasn't a canned docker/k8s solution for it. I did find somebody's stale implementation and tweaked it a bit, so if anybody needs Docker images... https://github.com/rich0/bacula (documentation on that website isn't entirely up to date. I might post my k8s configs. At least this will eventually let me replace my existing bacula solution that I've been meaning to migrate to k8s. That is still standalone, but I'll migrate that over. That at least shouldn't be too hard since I just need to copy/paste the job settings and move my offline disk storage daemon to the new install. Almost all the bacula config is server side which makes that part easier. BTW, I do appreciate the feedback/etc. I think I was just hoping that there would be options other than burp/bacula that handled VSS. I get that there is an argument for avoiding VSS - and if I did that then it would open up quite a few more options. So, now all I have to do is deal with the Centos 7 EOL since that is what the docker images I bumped are based on. Probably shouldn't be too hard to deal with but I'll save that challenge for another day - I still have 1.5 yrs... -- Rich ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
