My answer was constructive, and correct. If you find that offensive, that isn't a problem in my opinion. Meaningless multi hundred KB pastes have no business being shared on a list. There are appropriate forums for that nonsense, a mail list is not one.

Further my answer and my critique of the question are well within the bounds of norms. Please deliver your empty virtue signaling elsewhere.

Not that it matters, but I actually took a look through plugs recent messages in my mailbox and considered unsubscribing entirely based on some of the content I found. I instead decided to just filter it. This clearly was insufficient.

But by all means thanks for your input. I'll make sure to check my attitude when wasting my time on the internet.

When I said "elsewhere", why don't you do the work for me and type up a complaint email to the list admin and waste his time as well.

Make sure you remind him that rtfm isn't appropriate this new friendly world of yours.

this is loopback traffic. your computer is attempting to resolve a network time server (among other things). it is failing to do so. this is expected behavior, and by design.
