[PLUG] [plug-announce] Wed Oct 4 - PLUG Central - "General Discussion" (7pm ET online)

Hi everyone,

Sorry for not sending this out sooner. I was away all weekend, then
today I was distracted first by getting a flu shot, then a party for
some new Nobel prize winners, and then by witnessing a frankly
horrific hit and run outside of 30th St. Station.

So it's been a day.

If anyone would like to do a talk at the last minute, please let me
know. Maybe you want to do a show and tell on the new Raspberry Pi 5?
But until then let's say this will be a general discussion meeting.

PLUG Central will be meeting on Wednesday, October 4, beginning at 7pm
EDT (2300 UTC). The meeting will be online. Details are at the bottom
of the email.

We don't have a speaking this month, so the meeting will be a general
discussion of all things Linux and open source.

We'll be using Jitsi Meet, a free and open source videoconferencing
platform, for the meeting. The meeting will start at 7 PM.

Jitsi Meet also has apps for iOS and Android. If you decide to
use one of those apps, use meeting code "PLUGCentralOctober2023".
