I just bought an old HP 95LX palmtop from the 1992 on eBay.
The screen has a large oval shadow in the center that makes it
VERY hard to see the non-backlit screen. The enclosed photo shows
the effect, but it's actually MUCH worse in person. The center of
the screen is almost completely invisible to the naked eye.
I'm assuming (hoping!) it's one of the polymer layers over the
screen, which might be fixable/replaceable by taking the screen
assembly apart.
But before I do that, I though I'd ask the "experts" here what
y'all thought.
Is this a repairable problem?
TIA!
