I use Proton. The free tier only has a small amt of labels, but I'm pretty sure the paid version has a lot of features over free. Web-based free, Pop/IMAP paid. If you go paid, you can use something like Thunderbird and customize the hell out of it. Proton is (allegedly) encrypted.
Thunderbird for android is in beta now and prob can be dl from play store. There is an alt to play store but I have to dig it up.
Bookmark manager that can sync to browsers and have a web front-end. Contact manager that can sync to android and be accessed from web.
Can't help w sync. Proton has the contact mgr and calendar.I want to sync my desktop mail with my android, not using Google. Not practical now.
I love Thunderbird, even for gmail, K9 on android.
