The pithy ruminations from "K.S. Bhaskar via plug" on
[Re: [PLUG] Recycling a laptop battery] were:
=> Thanks for the suggestions, all. I'll try them starting with Best Buy &
=> Micro Center when I get back to town.
When I last tried MicroCenter & Best Buy, several months ago, they both refused to take batteries.
To be fair, maybe MicroCenter would actually have taken them... but
when I walked into the store, unlike in the past, they wouldn't let me
just drop off the batteries. They required me to sign in and set up
a technician appointment before they'd even look at the grocery bag
with a handful of batteries. I explained I just wanted to leave them
for recycling. They refused to take them without an appointment. I left.
