LOL, about 15 years ago I went to Sam Ash music store and tried out
different amps. I plugged into a mere 25 watt tube amp and it sounded
not only better but louder.
I got rid of my last tube radio in 1993 after our kids were born
because I didn't want to take a chance on starting a fire. But maaaaan,
that FM tube radio sounded wonderful. It was one of those white
plastic Zeniths with the bass boost.
