I hear you. I don't use Gmail either, but they're impossible to avoid.
I'd estimate that 75-80% of the traffic to this list comes from Gmail
addresses, so anything you post here will end up in 100s of Gmail
accounts.

Gmail has become so ubiquitous that the only way to be be sure your
email won't get data mined is to encrypt everything you send.
