Re: [Plug] More sound problems

Some questions:

Is the card a jumpered isa bus card or an isa pnp card?

Or is the card a pci bus card?

If the card is a jumpered isa card, set the jumpers for an unused irq
and appropriate port address. I think that the default is irq 5 which a
lot of ethernet cards want to occupy. I set my ``ancient'' card using
irq 10.

If the card is an isa plug and pray, read the documentation for what the
default irq and port values are used.

Finally, I think that the old soundblaster 16 and 32 have to have their
settings hard coaded into the kernel and a kernel has to be compiled.

Also, I don't think making this a module will work sinse the irq and
port has to be hard coaded.
