Re: [Plug] redhat 6.1 insllation

Why can't you just put on an older RH install? Like 6.0 or 5.2?

When redhat 6.1 came out, i know there were a ton of problems with
installing any way other than booting off the cd. When trying to install
from the bootnet.img, i know it kept prompting me for a driver disk, which
no one i asked knew anything about, so i ended up just throwing freebsd on
the thing, but I need to get a dns server, webserver, and email server up
tonight _quickly_, and i don't know freebsd well enough.
I was wondering if anyone has been successful in installing redhat 6.1
from an ftp install? Or at least knows what the driver disk they ask for
is? Searching through the whole cd i can't find any disk images that could
possibly be it.
