I recently upgraded from 1.0.1i to 1.2.5i (as part of a move from
RH6.2 to Debian 2.2).  A similar problem was on my list of things to
iron out.  I had

set hostname = fuse.net

but all I would get was
From: <lopp>

Using "set from" works nicely, but it isn't just your machine that is
messing up "set hostname"
