Is that really called for? Would you appreciate someone posting that all technical people are weird trolls? This kind of over-generalization is nothing more than flamebait.

There are recruiters that do it because they are passionate about technology, and really want to help people in their careers. Admittedly we cannot help everyone, but neither can the best sysadmin resolve every single technical issue- it's just not possible.

I apologize if you have had a bad experience, but this misconception is much like the end user that gives tech support people attitude because they couldn't help them or because one of them was rude to them once.
