[PLUG] launch scripts from KFM?

I downloaded Java 1.4.1 jdk, which comes as a .bin file that unrolls
into a RPM. It would have been nice if I could have executed the script
from the file manger, but i had to go in to the CLI to do it. Can anyone
provide any hints on what I would need to do to get this to happen? Is
this a mime setting adjustment or an environment setup adjustment or
something else?
