I have the Logitech wireless mouse+keyboard package. I'm not real fond
of the mouse (it's optical, and none of my flat surfaces seem to be
really optical-friendly), but the RF keyboard easily crosses my living
room (20-30 feet) without ever dropping a keystroke, and I've used it
once or twice from another room, with largely positive results. Might be
worth investigating. Uses 2 PS/2 connectors to hook up, too, so totally
alt-OS friendly.
