Now that I think about, I would too! Man would it be boring though... Maintaining a single system with nothing else to do.

A few years ago I quit a contract job that had a similar scenario. They hired me out of a budget overflow (needed to use it up before year end) and didn't have anything for me to do. I literally sat there all day with nothing to do. I went stir crazy. Doing nothing, while looking busy, is actually tough. You can only read and browse the web so much... Its dangerous to work at a place where you can't exercise your skills, its like muscle entropy.
