Viewing as text". So what am I > doing wrong? Mailcap files confuse me. :-) When it fails, run the test yourself, 'echo $DISPLAY'. If it's unset, then that line doesn't match. It looks like cacaview wants an X server to display on. I just ssh -X here, and let display do it.
