Perhaps a dumb question, but do you have an SD card or other mass storage on 
the phone?  Ofttimes, with internal memory on the phone, and proprietary file 
systems, you just aren't going to be able to mount the phone, no matter which 
tool you use.

Have you tried connecting via bluetooth and transfering?
