It's choppy because ekiga/xmpp+sip/etc. doesn't have the
"benefit/advantage" skype actually has of what sort of amounts to using
your computer as a router. for others. even if you aren't in a chat.

This is why more resources need to be devoted to Ekiga, so we have a
