Right now I'm still generally stuck on Windows for this.  I don't
really play anything available on Steam (not that I've gone looking),
so that moving to Linux won't help.  More of the games I tend to play
have been becoming available on Linux so I might switch at some point.
 However, until I reach some critical mass I'm not going to go moving
video cards around/etc - a half-decent video card costs as much as a
CPU so I generally don't invest on these for Linux systems (I use
integrated video if I can find it, and if not a really cheap card).
