[PLUG] [plug-announce] PLUG North, Tue, April 8, 2014 - "UEFI and Linux" by Paden (at CoreDial in Blue Bell, 7pm)


This month, PLUG North welcomes back Paden, who will be giving a talk on 
UEFI (the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface), which is intended as
a replacement for the traditional BIOS firmware interface. Come and find
out about UEFI, Secure Boot, and what the ramifications are for Linux and 
Open Source operating systems on the next generations of computing
hardware. Paden has previously given a version of the talk at PLUG West.
