Re: [PLUG] Possibly Off-Topic but looking for a "server"

Is x86 a firm requirement? What about picking up a Raspberry Pi and a case? You can get that for <$100.

Steven,
I have a couple boxes I used as vmhosts which I recently replaced. If you're interested I'm sure we could work something out well under $100.

Sorry for the possibly off-topic post but over the weekend I became aware that a little-used server in my basement has failed.  It's an old AMD K5 based system so anything from this millennium will do.  Any suggestions on where to pick up a roughly $100 old desktop type box?  I seem to recall Microcenter used to have a pile of them stacked up in St. David's store but that was years ago.

I'm tempted to just spin the wheel-of-luck and buy one off of ebay but thought I would see if anyone knows of a local source for a used PC.
