I certainly don’t want to discourage you from buying one of Jon’s old boxes. I also can’t guarantee what they might have at Micro Center. However, they often have some sort of overstock stuff on sale there, and if you’re the in the area it’s always fun to stop by there.

Sorry for the possibly off-topic post but over the weekend I became aware that a little-used server in my basement has failed.  It's an old AMD K5 based system so anything from this millennium will do.  Any suggestions on where to pick up a roughly $100 old desktop type box?  I seem to recall Microcenter used to have a pile of them stacked up in St. David's store but that was years ago.

I'm tempted to just spin the wheel-of-luck and buy one off of ebay but thought I would see if anyone knows of a local source for a used PC.
