Vista SP2 was production released Thursday. It apparently takes issue with GRUB and gives the following message after getting to stage 3 of 3 100%. This issue was also reported in the RC of SP2. Service pack failed to install, reverting changes. Two auto reboots later it's back to SP1 and Linux and Windows once again seem to be living side by side together. Haven't tried Grub 2 yet. Microsoft's new one patch to rule them all policy means it also affects Windows Server 2008; only with some reporting password files getting trashed. -------------------------------------------------- Brian Vagnoni PGP Digital Fingerprint F076 6EEE 06E5 BEEF EBBD BD36 F29E 850D FC32 3955 -------------------------------------------------- ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
