TLS Support in Ithreads?

Does anyone know if Ithreads supports thread local storage [TLS]?

Or, since Perl threads are different, is there some other mechanisim 
for acheiving the same type of feature?

Sun finally had the sense to include TLS facilities in the latest 
releases of Java (java.lang.ThreadLocal), which nicely enhances its 
threading capabilities.


Not having used ithreads extensivly yet, I'm curious about Perl's 
solution to TLS (if there is one).
