I've added a page to the YAPC Kwiki on "Micro Conferences".

Dominus and I were talking about this at Powell's last week. The idea
is to do something small, like the Scandanavian Perl Weekend. A small
event doesn't have nearly as many constraints as a YAPC: smaller target
size, less demand for dorms, etc.
