Michael,
I have implemented a VPN with Aventail's VPN server
http://www.aventail.com. The server is a Micron Vetix P-Pro 200 running
Red Hat 4.2. There is VPN client software for Win 3.x, Win95/98, WINNT,
and Linux that works with Aventail's server.
You can read about my implementation in Network World:
http://www.nwfusion.com/reprints/0518man.html
Unfortunately in the article there is no mention of linux being used as the
server platform. :-( Let me know if you're interested in this solution as I
would be more than happy to discuss it with you in more detail.
