TOPIC: Eric S. Raymond is working on a new paper ("The Magic
Cauldron"). If he has the draft completed he will present
it to us, otherwise he will conduct a workshop on how to
be an effective advocate.
ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:
Eric S. Raymond is one of the premiere spokes persons for
the Open Source movement. He wrote the paper ``The
Cathedral and the Bazaar'' that started all of the
publicity about Linux. In this paper he describes how
the Open Source development system works. This paper was
one of the major reasons that Netscape released the source
code for their browser.
