That was what I tried first. configure complained that it couldn't determine my
hostname. Would it be a problem that my domain name is a single word (i.e.,
'domain' instead of 'domain.net')? And if I manage to use configure, will qmail
still be able to retrieve mail from the external mail server or will it only
work within my bogus domain?
Thanks for replying,
