[Plug] More sound problems

Last night when I tried to install my sound blaster 32 card using
'sndconfig', the card was detected, and then the system just hung. No
response what so ever, just a frozen blue screen. Can the system detect the
card if the modules are not installed? What do I have to do the verify
whether or not the SoundBlaster modules are available?
