[Plug] pnp sound problem

I have a ESS1868 PnP sound card, whcih I am working on setting up.
I've compiled all of the sound options (sound card support, oss
modules, 100% sb compatible, mpu401 and fm synthesizer) as modules.
I put the commands specified in Documentation/sound/ESS1868 in a file
in init.d, but the file has the following errors:

/lib/modules/2.2.10/misc/sb.o: init_module: Device or resource busy
/lib/modules/2.2.10/misc/opl3.o: init_module: Device or resource busy
insmod: v_midi: no module by that name found

I set set up the isapnp.conf file.  I'm running Debian potato, updated
early this morning.
