No, this is not necessarily so. 192.168.*.* is class B,
but you are free to subnet this further if you want.
In this guy's case, it looks like he has set up 192.168.1.*
as a class C subnet, which is fine. As long as all the interfaces
on that subnet have a netmask of 255.255.255.0, it should be OK.
