Re: [Plug] Dual boot, lilo problem.
|
Hi there,
My lilo.conf looks like:
boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
prompt
timeout=50
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.5-15
label=linux
root=/dev/hda6
read-only
My fdisk( in linux) partions look like:
/dev/hda1 HPFS/NTFS bootable
hda2 Extended
hda5 HPFS/NTFS bootable
hda6 Linux
hda7 Linux Swap
The strange thing is hda6 which is the linux partion in the lili.conf file
is not marked bootable, but works fine.
If I add:
label=NT
root=/dev/hda5
The lilo complains saying that the label NT already exists ...
This problem started after I upgraded from RH5.2 to 6.0 if that had my
significance, IDNK ...
Bye,
