I used, for RedHat 6.0 and 6.1, and generic multisync as the monitor the
freq setting 50-90 (If I remember correctly) and no setting for the clock
chip on a 16-bit 800x600 screen for a laptop using NeoMagic 128 video.
No other special configs at all

just use a lower-middle setting for h&v sync. It's fine on mine..
