I have a rather nice 20/8/2 CD-RW from plextor. It works great. I've
been using cdrecord and cdrdao to create cd's. Its fine. The man pages
for cdrecord have a ton of examples and theres a few decent gui
frontends out there. If you are using IDE, then you'll have to compile
in scsi emulation into your kernel. CD-R's are written by the generic
scsi driver under linux.
