I just recompiled my 2.2.12 kernel. Now, whenever I boot up, I get a series
of messages telling me that certain modules could not be found. What must I
do to get rid of these messages? Does it have something to do with
/boot/module-info?
When I compiled, I did:
make menuconfig
make dep
make bzImage
make modules
make modules_install
I then copied the new image to /boot as vmlinuz-2.2.12-20 and set a soft
link to it as vmlinuz.
I also copied over the new System.map file and created a soft link for it as
well.
What did I do wrong?
Thanks,
Charles
