The testers of the prototypes weren't sure what the actual upper limit
was for virtual machines. I think I heard the number 60K bantered
around. Think of the colo space saved.
Adam Thornton, the author of the article, got a loaner from IBM, if I
remember correctly. If you think you want to program for hardware....
