It's not that bad of an idea. I wouldn't be averse to a few bucks per meeting. (yes, yes, I know - define "few". OK - me, I like this group. I can afford $10 a meeting. Since I go to every meeting, that's $120 a year).
Betcha I'm in the (vast) majority with that opinion, tho.
