[PLUG] kernel stuff

Hi-

I am trying to do a custom compile of kernel 2.4.6 on my powerbook with
yellow dog linux.  I think I am having a problem with a file in the /boot
called module-info.  When I update the kernel, this file isn't updated.  I
wondered exactly what it did and how to update it.
