I've gotten that quite a lot. While I have not yet been able to confirm
this because I have been having difficulty finding a changelog, I suspect
it was a bug that was fixed, since I do not get it on my debian unstable
system with:
# netstat --version
net-tools 1.60
netstat 1.42 (2001-04-15)
