I attempted to upgrade my version of Abiword, and inspite of me telling to
leave defaults as is, some how my fonts got all mangled up. And I am
having trouble in doing anything on X. Such as reading. I get error
messages like this:
Warning: Cannot convert string
"-*-helvetica-medium-o-*-*-*-100-*-*-*-*-iso8859-*" to type FontStruct
Warning: Cannot convert string
"-*-helvetica-medium-r-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-iso8859-*" to type FontStruct
Warning: Cannot convert string
"-adobe-courier-medium-r-*-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-iso8859-*" to type FontStruct
And I am not sure what file to edit and where I should begin to fix this
problem.
I thought maybe my x font server was not running and hence the problem.
But I started it as a daemon, and still nothing happened.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks.
