[PLUG] /var partition full

warning: this may be a repost

my /var partion on a RH7.2 box filled up yesterday - as a result, dhcpd
stopped. it was cause the root mail file was 330M. what can i do to prevent
this from happening again? and is there a tool that will monitor partitions
and notify me when they are approaching max capacity?
