[PLUG] Fwd: Acrobat Reader for Palm OS via Unix
|
On a topic similar to my last Acrobat post, I asked a question, about 4
months ago, on Adobe's forums about creating pdf/pdbs for the palm on a
Unix platform. I have not yet tried theise suggestions.
BTW, it's easy to install the Acrobat Reader PRC onto the Palm using
jpilot (and probably a lot of other tools).

Well, I would also like to use AcrobatReader on my palmOS via Unix;
but seeing 4 months go by, and how nobody ever responded to you,
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it.
So my I suggest an open-source alternative to Acrobat?
Plucker is an open source distiller/reader designed specifically for
Palm OS.
It works great, and has become one of my most used Palm tools.

And if you do happen to get Acrobat on your palm via Unix, let me know.
thanks
