We recently upgraded my girlfriend's mobo to an ASUS P4S8X with the 8x
AGP option. She's using a 4x GeForce3 and running Debian and not having
any trouble with graphically potent games like UT2003 and BattleField1942.

Course, we'll know for sure when nVidia decides to release a 8x card. 8)
